Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Borhan Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Volland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Borhan Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Christian Volland!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Volland avoids it really well and circles away.
Khan closes the distance and clinches up with Volland, looking for a takedown. Khan pushes Volland against the cage but Volland circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Volland is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Khan to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Khan shrugs it off.

Khan manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Volland on his heels. He'll look to pass Volland's guard now, I'm sure.
Volland bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Khan's guard.
