Wiltord stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wiltord keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Silva's head.

Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wiltord on the ground.

Silva throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wiltord stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Silva throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wiltord shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Silva tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Wiltord manages to move to mount!

Wiltord is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Silva is surviving well by controlling Wiltord's body position as best he can.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wiltord is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Silva can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Wiltord working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Silva turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Wiltord off and cradles Silva's limp body as Wiltord celebrates with his corner.
