Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shogan Aye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michel Teló (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teló has chosen Michel Telo - Ai se eu te pego as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aye takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Aye misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Teló.
Teló let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Aye throws a low kick but Teló avoids it.
Aye scoring well with a low kick there.
Teló tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Aye is able to avoid easily.
Teló throws the left hand but Aye avoids the punch easily.
Teló is looking to land body kicks.
Teló getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Aye fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Teló is out of range.
Aye misses with a shot to the body
and Teló counters with a nice leg kick.
Teló throws a low kick but it's checked well by Aye.
Aye appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Teló throws a wild body kick that Aye sees coming a mile off.
Teló misses with a body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Teló tries to score with a low kick but Aye moves his leg out of the way.

Aye stalks Teló and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Teló's face. Teló staggers backwards, shaken.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Aye takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Teló ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Aye moves away.
Teló sizes up Aye with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Teló misses with a looping right.
A big left from Aye misses.
Teló throws out a counter right but Aye avoids it with no problem.
Aye misses with a right hand
and Teló cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nice body kick there by Teló.
Teló has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Aye.
Aye drives through with a takedown into Teló's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Teló holds on and takes a little breather.
Let's hope that Teló has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Teló lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aye wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Teló trying to move into half guard but instead Aye has managed to sweep!
Aye is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Teló has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Aye is looking to defend but Teló has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Aye! Teló pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Aye taps out and this one is all over!
