Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Valdis Visvaldis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carson Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Walker closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

I was talking to Visvaldis's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Walker pushes Visvaldis back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Visvaldis misses with some punches.

Visvaldis manages to break the clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A right-left combo lands from Walker.
Walker takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Walker gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Visvaldis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Walker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Visvaldis swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Walker misses with the combination.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Visvaldis. Walker shrugs it off though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Walker rushes Visvaldis and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Visvaldis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Visvaldis lands a big head kick that sends Walker tumbling to the mat! Visvaldis takes a step backwards and waves Walker back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Walker is rocked!

It looks like Carson Walker has been cut.
Walker wants to stay close but Visvaldis steps back to make room for something. Walker seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Visvaldis and Walker drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
