Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jacoby Nichalos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Longson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nichalos comes into the arena with Hallow Point Heroes- Calm Before The Storm blaring out of the sound system. Jacoby Nichalos could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Brandon Longson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nichalos throws a looping overhand right but Longson ducks down to avoid it.
Longson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nichalos sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Longson somewhat.
Nichalos connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Brandon Longson has been cut.
Longson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nichalos defends well and Longson ends up having to push Nichalos into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Jacoby Nichalos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Longson.
Horrible takedown attempt by Longson or perhaps it was just good defense by Nichalos, which made it look bad.
Nichalos slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Longson feints and as Nichalos raises his hands in defense, Longson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Nichalos is looking to stand up but Longson isn't so interested in that idea.

Longson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Longson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Nichalos wants to stand and escape but Longson is having none of it.

Longson wants to control from the top but Nichalos keeps moving.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Longson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

That has opened up Brandon Longson's cut even more.
Nichalos pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Brandon Longson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Nichalos flashes Longson a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Longson's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Longson crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Nichalos punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
