The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chinyengetere fails with an attempt to clinch.
McCormick keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Chinyengetere.
Chinyengetere tries to clinch but McCormick is having none of it.

Chinyengetere fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McCormick, pushing him back against the cage.

Chinyengetere jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as McCormick walks away with a smile on his face. Chinyengetere gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

McCormick feints and then cracks Chinyengetere's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Chinyengetere down.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McCormick avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McCormick tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Chinyengetere manages to circle out of the way.

and McCormick counters with a good low kick that Chinyengetere was not able to check.

A relieved looking Kenny McCormick thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
