The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Tupper 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Tupper throws a head kick but Taylor moves out of range.
Tupper throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Taylor.

Tupper rushes Taylor and presses him up against the cage.
Taylor dodges an elbow strike from Tupper.
Taylor tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Tupper avoids it.

Taylor tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tupper was well out of range. Poor timing from Taylor.

Tupper takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Taylor throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Tupper's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Taylor dives in looking to finish as Tupper flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Taylor's strikes! Taylor is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Tupper's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Tupper was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jordan Taylor!
