Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Boskins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Mc Elroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mc Elroy drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Mc Elroy wants to pass the guard but Boskins is keeping the position.
Mc Elroy is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Mc Elroy wants to control from the top but Boskins keeps moving.
Boskins avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Boskins will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Mc Elroy postures up in Boskins's guard and throws a big left but Boskins blocks it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mc Elroy seems to be looking for submissions.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Mc Elroy working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Mc Elroy is nestled in close to Boskins, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Boskins is refusing to be controlled, as Mc Elroy sits in half guard.

Mc Elroy wants to free his trapped foot but Boskins is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Boskins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mc Elroy is working away from the top position though.

Mc Elroy is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Mc Elroy lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Boskins tries to hold on but Mc Elroy pushes him away.

Mc Elroy goes for an armbar but Boskins turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Boskins.

Mc Elroy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Boskins is one step ahead there.
Boskins throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Boskins loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mc Elroy holds on and takes a little breather.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Boskins has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mc Elroy is proving hard to escape from.

Mc Elroy is looking for a triangle but Boskins pushes his legs off easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Danny Mc Elroy dominated that round.
That's time! Boskins's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Mc Elroy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Boskins stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Boskins is looking to clinch.
Boskins fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mc Elroy shoots for a double leg takedown but Boskins sprawls well. He's pushed Mc Elroy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
No joy there for Boskins, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A head kick misses from Boskins.
