Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Van Pol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edgar will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Pol lands a hook that snaps the head of Edgar backwards.
Pol will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Edgar up against the cage.
