Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Ezzard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sione Witika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Witika comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Slice of Heaven kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Witika misses with a two punch combination.
Ezzard scores with a jab to the body.
Witika throws a body shot but no joy.
Ezzard tries to score with a low kick but Witika moves his leg out of the way.
Ezzard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Witika avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Witika takes one on the button.
Ezzard cracks Witika with a good jab.
Ezzard scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Ezzard moves out of range of the strikes.
Witika's coach down at Rabid Dog was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Witika's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Witika stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Ezzard connects with a right hand. Witika shakes it off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ezzard throws out a leg kick but Witika moves out of range and Ezzard only half commits.

Ezzard's corner calls for a 1-2. Ezzard obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Ezzard is breathing heavily.
Witika tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ezzard manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ezzard lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Ezzard looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Witika tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ezzard paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Witika is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Ezzard rather than just go for the knockout.

and Witika counters with a crisp right hand that drops Ezzard! Witika lets Ezzard back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Ezzard is rocked!

It looks like Charlie Ezzard has been cut.
Witika cracks Ezzard with a left hook right on the temple and Ezzard goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Witika lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Ezzard is OK!
