The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metso shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Diggs pinned against the cage. Diggs gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Metso closes the distance and clinches up with Diggs, looking for a takedown. Metso pushes Diggs against the cage but Diggs circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
It looked like Diggs wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
A punch lands to the side of Metso 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Metso shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Diggs as he avoids it easily.
A little feinted left hand from Diggs on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Adrian Diggs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ukko Metso.
Diggs misses with a wild combination.

A decent looking cross lands there for Diggs.
Metso shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Diggs sprawls well. Diggs wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Metso gets slowly back to his feet.
Diggs was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Metso shoots for a takedown but Diggs saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Metso takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Ukko Metso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Metso takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Diggs wants to stand up but Metso is controlling him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Metso has hold of Diggs's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Diggs seems comfortable defending it but Metso has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Diggs is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Diggs is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Metso couldn't care less - he's delighted!
