The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Socrates throws a left and a right that both miss
and Halleck counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Socrates thinking.
Halleck tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Socrates was well out of range. Poor timing from Halleck.
Halleck lands a really nice looking cross but Socrates seems unphased.

Socrates moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Halleck looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Halleck fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Socrates looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Halleck uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Socrates.
Halleck was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Socrates drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Halleck feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Socrates sprawling to the canvas! Socrates rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Halleck finish him?!
