Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaskins takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
A nice inside leg kick there by Matrix. That's going to slow Gaskins down.
Gaskins avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Matrix fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gaskins has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Gaskins has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Zero Tolerance in the buildup to the fight.
Gaskins throws the left hand but Matrix avoids the punch easily.
Jab, jab by Gaskins - just one landing.
Matrix pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Gaskins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Matrix tries to avoid it but Gaskins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Matrix to the ground. Matrix escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gaskins lands the left hand.
Gaskins swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gaskins misses with a looping right.
Matrix tries a quick counter leg kick but Gaskins is wise to it.
Gaskins darts in looking for a takedown but Matrix gets double underhooks and turns Gaskins into the cage.
Matrix scores with a head kick.
Gaskins thows a left - swing and a miss!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Matrix lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
John Matrix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Matrix needs to keep his hands up - Gaskins had a free shot at his head there.

A lazy left from Matrix finds it's target.
Crunch! Matrix slams his shin into Gaskins's torso.
Gaskins moves out of range of the strikes.
Gaskins half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Gaskins throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The fighters circling - Matrix throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Matrix scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Matrix throws a head kick that Gaskins semi-blocks.
Gaskins checks a low kick from Matrix.
Matrix scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Matrix steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gaskins.
Gaskins throws a big shot that misses.

Gaskins gets a double leg takedown into Matrix's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Matrix tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Gaskins has gone for a leg lock! Matrix slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gaskins's guard.

Gaskins trying to keep a closed guard but Matrix is proving a slippery customer.
Matrix won't allow Gaskins to sweep him here.
Matrix is looking to work some ground and pound but Gaskins has wrist control.

Gaskins looking for a triangle here. Matrix is fighting it but it looks tight! Gaskins pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Matrix is tapping out - this one is all over!
