Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Ben Hemmingworth and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong throws a right and a left that both miss.
It looked like Gilbert was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Wong.
Nice takedown defense from Gilbert. No joy for Wong on that attempt.

Wong changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gilbert tries to avoid it but Wong manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gilbert to the ground. Gilbert escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Wong must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Wong would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
