The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jong Guk misses with a body shot.
Jong Guk misses the body punch
and Tate counters with a straight right hand.
Tate has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Jong Guk is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Jong Guk throws a head kick that misses.
Kim Jong Guk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jong Guk defending well as Tate loads up on a big left hand.
Jong Guk throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Tate.
Jong Guk connects with the punch.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jong Guk.
Jong Guk looks to score with a jab to the body but Tate is just out of range.

A looping hook to the body misses from Tate. Jong Guk does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tate throws the left hand but Jong Guk avoids the punch easily.
Jong Guk throws a body shot but no joy.
Tate misses with an uppercut.
Nice body kick there by Jong Guk.

Tate avoids the head kick by Jong Guk.
Jong Guk throws a leg kick but Tate sees it coming and moves out of range.
Jong Guk scores with a jab. Tate acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Tate closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Kim Jong Guk has been cut.
Jong Guk blocks a jab.
Tate takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Jong Guk keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nice straight punches there by Jong Guk. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jong Guk.
Jong Guk takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Tate lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Tate moves out of range as Jong Guk throws a body kick.
Tate looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Jong Guk misses the shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jong Guk missing with a left hand there. Tate was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jong Guk swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jong Guk takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jong Guk stuns Tate with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jong Guk is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Jong Guk throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

A lazy left from Jong Guk finds it's target.
Tate is rocked!
Jong Guk knocks out Tate with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Jong Guk before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Jong Guk picks up the big W with a huge KO!
