The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Eikmeyer pushes OConnell up against the cage in a clinch.
Eikmeyer can't get the takedown.
Eikmeyer has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. OConnell avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Eikmeyer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Oooooh!!! OConnell has knocked Eikmeyer down with a huge combo! OConnell steps away and waves a wobbly Eikmeyer back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
OConnell lands a leg kick that knocks Eikmeyer off balance momentarily.
OConnell fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Eikmeyer out cold! Brutal finish!
