Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sanie Skopgat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nixy Souch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nixy Souch!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skopgat fails with the takedown
and Souch counters with a takedown into side control.
Souch lands a few punches from side control.
Souch looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Skopgat is trying to improve his position.
Souch takes a little break here. Skopgat wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Souch cracks Skopgat with a big right hand but Skopgat just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Skopgat can't do much from the bottom here.

Skopgat is trying to escape the position but Souch is controlling the position.
Souch cracks Skopgat with a big elbow.
Souch controls the position.
Souch is working to tighten his grip on Skopgat's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Skopgat has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Souch is really squeezing tight and eventually Skopgat passes out! Souch breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
