The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Kavanagh and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Gracie throws a low kick but Newton avoids it.
Newton appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Gracie throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gracie closes the distance and clinches.
Gracie lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Gracie is trying to work for a kimura but Newton is defending well.

Gracie doesn't manage to clinch there - Newton circles away.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Renzoi Gracie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Newton tries a head kick but it misses.
As Newton backs off Gracie throws a huge counter combo but Newton manages to avoid it all.
Gracie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Newton moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Newton napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Renzoi Gracie is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
