The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Vettenranta shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Harris manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Vettenranta stands up over Harris, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Vettenranta must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Vettenranta works over Harris with some ground and pound from guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Harris working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vettenranta doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Vettenranta manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Harris looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Vettenranta has picked Harris up and slammed him! Harris can't keep hold of the triangle and Vettenranta manages to pass to side control!
Harris tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Vettenranta wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Harris is not content to let Vettenranta control the position.

Harris tries to buck Vettenranta off but Vettenranta is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Harris definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Vettenranta has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Harris is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Vettenranta yanks on the arm and Harris is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Vettenranta.
