The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chuckhaven lands a lovely overhand right.
Chuckhaven has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Boson is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Chuckhaven throws a hook to the side of Boson's head but Boson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Boson lands a nice shot to the body.
Chuckhaven takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Chuckhaven fails with an attempt to clinch.
Boson throws a body punch but Chuckhaven moves out of range.
Chuckhaven throws a big shot that misses.
Boson connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like Paul Chuckhaven has been cut.

Boson drops Chuckhaven with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Chuckhaven looks back up at him and smiles so Boson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boson connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Chuckhaven out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Higgs Boson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
Paul Chuckhaven was interviewed post fight and said 'darn'.
