Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Arjen Franck Robbery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arni Jarnkarl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robbery comes to the cage accompanied by Die for Metal. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Arni Jarnkarl was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arjen Franck Robbery!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arni Jarnkarl!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been hearing reports that Robbery has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Robbery connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jarnkarl feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Robberys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close round but I would say that Arjen Franck Robbery will probably get the nod.

Robbery chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jarnkarl can pounce on him.

Robbery throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jarnkarl's waist but Jarnkarl gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Robbery off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arjen Franck Robbery. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Robbery throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jarnkarl was covering up waiting for the punch and Robbery finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Jarnkarl manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Robbery manages to get himself to full guard.

Arni Jarnkarl comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jarnkarl has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
