Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kasey Strong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Howie Sinclair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howie Sinclair has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kasey Strong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Howie Sinclair!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Chad Campbell and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sinclair tries to land a front kick but Strong steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Strong takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Strong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sinclair paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sinclair closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sinclair lands in his opponent's guard.
Sinclair slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Strong looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sinclair is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sinclair gets to his feet - Strong follows without any prompting.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sinclair doesn't manage to clinch there - Strong circles away.

Sinclair drives through with a takedown into guard.

Strong is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Sinclair presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Strong breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Sinclair.

Strong sneaks out the side door and pushes Sinclair away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sinclair fails in his attempt to clinch.

Sinclair moves into the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Strong.
Strong jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sinclair walks away with a smile on his face. Strong gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Sinclair lands a huge takedown. Strong is out but the ref is slow to react and Sinclair lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Strong lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
