Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Diego Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz works over Pablos's head and body with a nice combination.
Diaz lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Diaz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pablos circles away quickly and effectively.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Pablos has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Diaz defend it? Pablos steps over the head and cranks it - Diaz is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Pablos!

During a confident post fight interview, Pablo Pablos thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
Diego Diaz was interviewed post fight and said 'Eu amo este esporte e eu nunca vou parar até que eu estou morto, então eu estarei de volta novamente. (I love this sport & I will never stop until I'm dead so I will be back again)'.
