Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleixo Gene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the ring accompanied by Roots Bloody Roots - Sepultura. Aleixo Gene will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Some bone on bone action there as Gene checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

A counter left hand to the body from Silva misses its target.

Silva was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Silva tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Gene manages to circle out of the way.
Silva throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Gene's head.
Gene lands a nice shot to the body.

Gene looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Gene takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oooooh!!! Silva has knocked Gene down with a huge combo! Silva steps away and waves a wobbly Gene back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
