The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Roman lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Miller backs up against the cage.

and Roman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Good leg kick by Miller there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Miller takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Roman seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Miller feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miller has gone for a leg lock! Roman slips out almost immediately though and dives into Miller's guard.

Roman stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Miller throws up his legs and catches Roman in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Roman tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Miller! That came out of nowhere!
