PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaice Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Mouth for war. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

With a record of 22 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kaice Gunn!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn slips a jab from Gracie.
Gunn moves out of range as Gracie strikes.
Gracie cracks Gunn with an open hand slap.
Gunn doesn't manage to clinch there - Gracie circles away.
Gunn slips a straight right by Gracie.
Gracie bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Gunn closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gracie quickly recovers to half guard.
Gracie's coaches at Fokai Academy have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Gunn is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

After the fight, Kaice Gunn was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
In defeat, Rickson Gracie stepped up to the mic, saying 'I blame the crowd'.
