Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Silvan Wiltord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Soshnyanin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiltord gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Soshnyanin.
Wiltord takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Wiltord closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wiltord lands in his opponent's guard.
Wiltord slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Soshnyanin has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Torture rack. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Wiltord tries to free his leg and advance position but Soshnyanin is retaining full guard.

Wiltord is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Soshnyanin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Soshnyanin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wiltord wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Soshnyanin is not content to let Wiltord control the position.

Wiltord is trying to get an arm triangle but Soshnyanin is defending well.

Wiltord is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Soshnyanin has escaped the position, nice work there.
Soshnyanin tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Wiltord wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Soshnyanin, who protects the arm well.

Wiltord thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Wiltord moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Soshnyanin is looking to reverse the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
You can see the frustration on Soshnyanin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Wiltord gets a double leg takedown into Soshnyanin's guard.

Wiltord drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Soshnyanin manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Wiltord has Soshnyanin in his guard.

Wiltord has his foot on Soshnyanin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Soshnyanin works his way back into a safe position though.

Wiltord has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Soshnyanin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Wiltord has his feet on Soshnyanin's thighs here. He's pushed Soshnyanin off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Soshnyanin screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
