The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szbrjcik connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Maynard momentarily.

It looks like Peter Maynard has been cut.
Maynard tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Szbrjcik misses with a body shot.

Szbrjcik gets a takedown into half guard.
Maynard on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Maynard tries to get out of the position.
Maynard blocking the ground and pound attempt from Szbrjcik.
Maynard has hold of Szbrjcik's hands but Szbrjcik slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Szbrjcik is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Maynard!
Szbrjcik thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Szbrjcik fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Szbrjcik can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Maynard is looking to escape.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Maynard takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Maynard is rocked!
Maynard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Szbrjcik on the ground.
Szbrjcik postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Maynard badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Szbrjcik around the waist but Szbrjcik pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Szbrjcik is the winner by TKO! Szbrjcik jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
