Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Karlsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gobal Batra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Karlsson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Game-Motörhead. Frank Karlsson has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batra avoids the body shot from Karlsson.
A looping hook to the body misses from Batra. Karlsson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Karlsson keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
A quick step to the side and Karlsson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Batra missing with a left hand there. Karlsson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Karlsson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Batra falls off balance throwing a combination
and Karlsson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Karlsson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Gobal Batra has been cut.

and Batra takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Batra ducks under a wild hook from Karlsson.
A countering left hand to the body from Batra misses.
Karlsson lands a nice shot that snaps Batra's head back.

Batra has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Batra uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Karlsson.
Karlsson throws out a loose jab but Batra uses good head movement to avoid it.
Batra feints the counter takedown.
Karlsson checks the leg kick.
Batra changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Karlsson tries to avoid it but Batra manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Karlsson to the ground. Karlsson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Karlsson is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Batra throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Karlsson.

Batra moves forwards but Karlsson connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and Karlsson counters with a huge left! Batra is in big trouble! He's backing up but Karlsson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Batra from any more damage. A dominating finish by Karlsson!

Frank Karlsson opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
