Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ewen Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Talbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Davis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Atreyu-Ex's and oh's. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis dives in for a single leg takedown but Talbert sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Davis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Talbert sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Davis somewhat.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Talbert! But no joy.
Davis gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Talbert counters with a two punch combo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ewen Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Davis defending well as Talbert loads up on a big left hand.

Davis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Talbert as he jumps to the side.

Davis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Talbert sprawls well. Talbert wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Davis gets slowly back to his feet.

Talbert lunges at Davis with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Davis's hand.
Talbert has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
Talbert changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Davis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Talbert circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Davis.

Davis shoots in looking for a takedown but Talbert manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Davis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ewen Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davis goes for a double leg but Talbert avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Talbert continues to drive forward.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Davis tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Talbert defends well and Davis ends up having to push Talbert into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Davis shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

enabling Talbert to counter with a crisp jab.

and Talbert counters with a crisp right that sends Davis to the canvas! Talbert follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
