The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Nascimento tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Diamond swivels and escapes.

Diamond closes the distance and clinches.
Stalling in the clinch from Diamond.

Diamond escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
De Nascimento should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Diamond keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Diamond moves into range and clinches up with De Nascimento.
Diamond lands with a short shot to the head.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Diamond.
A frustrated look appears on Diamond's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Diamond breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
De Nascimento shoots in but no luck this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Diamond drops De Nascimento with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but De Nascimento looks back up at him and smiles so Diamond waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

De Nascimento is still on wobbly legs! Can Diamond finish him?
Diamond circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops De Nascimento to the canvas! De Nascimento doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Diamond keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
