Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tugg Speedman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eder Falcao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Falcao has chosen Goldberg Theme as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tugg Speedman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Eder Falcao!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falcao takes a head kick and keeps coming.


It looks like Eder Falcao has been cut.
Speedman staying out of range there.
Speedman tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Falcao counters with a nice leg kick.
Speedman throws a push kick but Falcao slaps the foot to one side.
Falcao swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Falcao avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Speedman throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Falcao moves away from the strike by Speedman.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Falcao misses with a low kick.
Speedman tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Falcao cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Speedman feints and then cracks Falcao's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Falcao down.
Falcao throws a series of punches but Speedman avoids them all with ease.
Falcao sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
A low kick from Speedman is predictable there
letting Falcao counter with a right hand.
Speedman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Speedman moves into the clinch.
Speedman goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Speedman holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Speedman keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Falcao's efforts to push away.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Falcao has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Speedman misses with a short punch on the inside.
Speedman can't find room to land a body shot as Falcao controls the action.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Speedman misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Speedman lands a shoulder strike.
Speedman struggles to land a body shot inside as Falcao controls his hands.
Falcao misses with some punches.
A short left from Falcao.
Falcao swings wildly with an uppercut but Speedman uses good head movement to avoid it.
Speedman lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Speedman lands with a right to the head.
Speedman misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Speedman swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Falcao tries to throw a body punch but Speedman avoids it by throwing Falcao back against the cage.
Speedman tries a body shot but Falcao blocks it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A right handed body shot lands from Falcao.

Speedman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Falcao throws a hook to the side of Speedman's head but Speedman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Speedman lands an overhand right.


Falcao is rocked!
Falcao walks forward, straight into a front kick from Speedman.
Falcao is still on wobbly legs! Can Speedman finish him?
Falcao wants to stay close but Speedman steps back to make room for something. Falcao seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Speedman and Falcao drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Tugg Speedman!
Our winner, Tugg Speedman, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
