The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Otsuka closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Horne's guard.

Horne is looking for a triangle but Otsuka pushes his legs off easily.
Otsuka passes into half guard.

Otsuka is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Horne sees it coming and defends easily.
Otsuka works his way into side control.
Horne might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Otsuka tries to advance to mount but Horne instead regains half guard.

Horne is defending against the submission attempts here by Otsuka.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Otsuka is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Horne is just riding it out for now. Otsuka eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Otsuka is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Horne sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Otsuka is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Horne doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Otsuka.

Otsuka is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Horne is looking to escape.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Otsuka tries to pass to full mount but Horne defends it.

Otsuka seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Horne is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
