Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clifton Von Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christoph Lindemann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Von Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Day of Anger. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Clifton Von Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Christoph Lindemann!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindemann slips under a jab from Von Lee.
Lindemann just misses with a punch to the body.
Von Lee swings for the body but Lindemann moves out of range.
Lindemann misses with a body kick.
Von Lee throws a hook to the side of Lindemann's head but Lindemann sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lindemann connects with a leg kick. Von Lee looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Lindemann misses with a straight left.
A telegraphed right hand from Von Lee misses the target.
A big left from Lindemann misses.
Von Lee misses with an uppercut.
Lindemann ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Von Lee moves away.
Von Lee was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Lindemann moves away from the strike by Von Lee.
Von Lee fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lindemann avoids it really well and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lindemann walks into a straight right hand from Von Lee.
We've been hearing reports that Von Lee has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Von Lee. Lindemann does a little dance to reset his feet.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lindemann can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lindemann has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Von Lee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lindemann really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Von Lee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lindemann is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Von Lee connects with a nice short shot to Lindemann's temple.

Lindemann is trying to stand up here but Von Lee is controlling him well.
Lindemann felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Von Lee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lindemann keeps working.
Lindemann tries to roll over but Von Lee keeps him under control.
Lindemann wants to control but Von Lee is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Von Lee moves into full mount! Lindemann won't be happy about that!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Lindemann displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Von Lee throws out the jab.
Von Lee throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Lindemann works over Von Lee's head and body with a nice combination.
Christoph Lindemann seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Lindemann ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Von Lee takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Von Lee takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lindemann connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Von Lee's hands.

and Von Lee connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Lindemann was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Lindemann tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Von Lee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Von Lee on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lindemann drops Von Lee with a big left hand! Von Lee is injured, injured bad! Lindemann jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
