Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lukasz Wojewoda!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wojewoda scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Brooks bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Brooks could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Brooks gets caught napping as Wojewoda dives in and scores a takedown. Brooks manages to retain guard.

Brooks is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Wojewoda presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wojewoda is pressed up against the cage. Brooks has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wojewoda down to the mat. Wojewoda avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Wojewoda drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brooks looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brooks looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brooks!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Brooks enables Wojewoda to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Brooks manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Wojewoda must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Brooks manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wojewoda manages to get himself to full guard.

Brooks remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Brooks decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Wojewoda throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Brooks tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wojewoda is in Brooks's guard.

Brooks tries to kick Wojewoda off in order to stand up. Wojewoda Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

The referee warns Brooks that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Brooks might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Wojewoda is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Brooks to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Brooks shrugs it off.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Wojewoda looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Brooks is looking to control Wojewoda's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Brooks avoid being mounted?

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Wojewoda content to control rather than advance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brooks is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wojewoda pulls his head out easily.

No joy there for Wojewoda, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lukasz Wojewoda comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Wojewoda has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
