The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McHaggardy misses the shot to the body.
McHaggardy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Shipman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
McHaggardy throws a body punch but Shipman moves out of range.
Shipman shoots in but no luck this time.
Shipman thows a left - swing and a miss!
McHaggardy swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
McHaggardy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Shipman throws out the jab.
McHaggardy misses with a wild body shot.
And Shipman responds with a good body kick, but McHaggardy manages to step out the way in time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shipman fails to land the takedown.
Scottie McHaggardy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harold Shipman.

Shipman drives through with a takedown into McHaggardy's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McHaggardy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shipman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

McHaggardy has momentary wrist control but Shipman slips an elbow through the middle.

McHaggardy throwing strikes from guard but Shipman blocks nicely.
Shipman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Shipman looking for a triangle here. McHaggardy is fighting it but it looks tight! Shipman pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, McHaggardy is tapping out - this one is all over!
