PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spike Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincenzo Crescenzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reaper kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Boom. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crescenzo shoots in looking for a takedown. Reaper tries to sprawl out of it but Crescenzo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Reaper manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Reaper is looking to counter the offense by Crescenzo and move into the clinch.

Crescenzo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Crescenzo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Reaper's coaches at The Fortress have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reaper is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Crescenzo scores with a couple of nice shots.
Oh Reaper is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Crescenzo lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Reaper quite badly. Reaper pulls Crescenzo in close trying to recover. Crescenzo postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Reaper on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Reaper doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
