Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dickie Crash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Justin Hall!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Crash looks to score with a jab to the body but Hall is just out of range.
Crash throws out a powerful jab.
Crash thows a left - swing and a miss!
Crash pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Crash misses with a body punch

and Hall counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Crash!
Crash is looking for a sweep.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hall creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Crash sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
A control attempt from Crash but he's now mounted!
Crash tries to hold on but Hall pushes him away.

Hall is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Crash has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Hall's lack of action.
Crash is looking to control Hall's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Crash avoid being mounted?

Crash tries to roll over but Hall keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Crash is trying to get back to full guard.
Crash trying to hold on to Hall's head to control him but Hall postures up.
Crash is not content to let Hall control the position.

Crash has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hall is working away from the top position though.

Crash wants to improve his position but instead Hall has moved into half guard.
Hall prevents Crash from improving his position.
Crash gets full guard.
Crash controls Hall momentarily but Hall frees himself.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hall is fighting to break Crash's control of his arms but Crash is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Crash misses the shot to the body.

Crash has managed to clinch.
Hall lands a body shot in the clinch.
Hall avoids the elbow strike from Crash, against the cage.
Hall gets through Crash's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Hall tries to work over Crash's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Crash doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Crash prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hall dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

A head punch on the inside from Hall fails to land.
The referee calls for Hall to work.

Hall's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Crash throws a hook but Hall avoids it easily.
Crash is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Hall lands with an uppercut that bounces Crash off the cage and back into range.
Hall waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Crash.
Hall fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Crash manages to avoid it.
Hall throws a sloppy head kick and Crash moves out of range easily.
Hall dodges the punch combination from Crash.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hall! But no joy.
Good shot there by Crash.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Crash.
Hall cracks Crash with a good jab.
Crash throws a chopping leg kick but Hall manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Crash looks to land a left hand but Hall moved out of range nicely.
Crash swings widly with a right hand

and Hall counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crash moves into full guard.
Hall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crash swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hall trying to control the position from guard on top but Crash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hall throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Hall being controlled here momentarily.
Hall trying to control but Crash is working from the bottom.

That's seven minutes gone in the round.
Crash is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Crash is pressing down on Hall's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hall is holding on for now.
Hall is trying to control but can't.

Hall is defending against the submission attempts here by Crash.

Crash is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hall has managed to free his arm - good work.

Hall actively working from the bottom here.

Crash prevents Hall from improving his position.
Crash is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Crash is just content to waste time from the top position. Hall takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Crash trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Crash trying to control but Hall is working from the bottom.
Hall pulls Crash in close to his closed guard and prevents Crash from doing any damage or advancing position.

Crash trying to control the position from guard on top but Hall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hall shoots and misses
and Hall takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hall avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Crash sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Nice shot lands for Crash.
Crash listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Nice cross by Crash.
Hall lands with a cross.
Dickie Crash is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Crash wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nice defenses there by Hall.
Crash looks to land a right hand but Hall moved out of range.
Hall tries a quick counter leg kick but Crash is wise to it.
Crash lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dickie Crash.
I think Crash has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
