Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Efficient tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Vettenranta manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Vettenranta tries for a takedown but Efficient circles away easily
and Efficient counters with a nice uppercut.
Vettenranta tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Efficient defends well and Vettenranta ends up having to push Efficient into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Efficient is looking to counter punch.

Efficient closes the distance and clinches.
Efficient stops a takedown attempt from Vettenranta.
Polite Efficient has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kaleva Vettenranta.
Efficient prevents a takedown attempt there.
Vettenranta can't get the takedown.
Vettenranta tries to score a body lock takedown but Efficient shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Efficient lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Kaleva Vettenranta has been cut.
Vettenranta is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Vettenranta takes an elbow to the temple.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vettenranta goes for a takedown attempt but Efficient pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

The cut above Kaleva Vettenranta's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Efficient gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Kaleva Vettenranta's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Efficient lands an elbow inside that Vettenranta shrugs off.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kaleva Vettenranta's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
