Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Oban!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cooley drives through with a takedown into Oban's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Oban is on top in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cooley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Cooley drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Oban manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Cooley has Oban in his guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Oban drops back looking for a leg! Cooley is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cooley manages to kick Oban off! Oban jumps back into Cooley's guard.
Cooley is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Oban fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cooley avoids it really well and circles away.

Cooley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Oban defends it well.

Well Cooley has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
