Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eugene Gael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cosmo Kramer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gael comes to the cage accompanied by Shinedown - Sound Of Madness . Eugene Gael has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eugene Gael!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Cosmo Kramer!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kramer clinches up against the cage.
Kramer wants a takedown.

Kramer has Gael pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kramer pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Gael tumbling to the mat - Kramer dives into Gael's guard.

Gael had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kramer defends it easily.

Kramer postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gael is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kramer, into his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gael is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gael advances to half guard.
Gael is taking a breather. Kramer says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Kramer actively working from the bottom here.

Kramer moves into full guard.
Gael trying to control but Kramer is working from the bottom.
Kramer looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Kramer is looking for a triangle but Gael pushes his legs off easily.
Gael advances to half guard.
Gael passes to full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gael prevents Kramer from getting the reversal.
Gael trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Gael is really struggling to control Kramer but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Kramer is in all sorts of trouble here.
Gael avoids the attempt from Kramer to control.
Gael looking to control and managing it successfully.
Kramer is wriggling around trying to escape.

Gael has control of Kramer's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kramer regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Kramer tries to reverse the position but Gael maintains control.
Kramer is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Kramer is working to get back to half guard.
Gael wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Gael tries to control but Kramer wriggling away.
Gael takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Gael seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Gael seems to be working for a kimura but Kramer defends the submission attempt.
Kramer won't allow Gael to pass to mount.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gael lands a nice short elbow.

Kramer looking for a kimura from the bottom but Gael passes into side control!
Kramer is looking for a sweep.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eugene Gael dominated that round.
That's time! Gael's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Crunch! Gael slams his shin into Kramer's torso.
Kramer has his takedown stuffed
letting Gael counter with a right hand.


It looks like Cosmo Kramer has been cut.
Kramer takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Gael lands a leg kick that knocks Kramer off balance momentarily.
Gael circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kramer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gael looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gael misses with a jab to the body

and Kramer counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gael won't be happy with that.

Kramer is trying to maintain the position but Gael is very close to passing his half guard.
Kramer tries to get to full guard but Gael has control of the leg.

Gael is looking for a kimura but Kramer is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gael to get the leverage.
Gael definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Gael slows the pace down in half guard.
Gael wants to control but Kramer is keeping him busy.

Gael is working for a kimura but Kramer is defending it quite comfortably.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Gael seems to be looking for submissions.
Kramer makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kramer.
Kramer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gael's guard.

Gael throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Gael stands and throws Kramer's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Gael wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kramer keeps working.
Kramer is looking for a sweep.

Gael tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Kramer manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Kramer is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Gael looking for submissions off his back.
Gael is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Kramer is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Gael has managed to free his arm - good work.
Gael wants to control but Kramer is keeping busy.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Kramer is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The cut man is working on Cosmo Kramer's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Gael lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Kramer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gael.
Gael is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kramer can do to turn this around?
Gael looks to land a left hand but Kramer moved out of range nicely.
Gael throws a jab when Kramer was well out of range.

Kramer shoots in looking for a takedown. Gael tries to sprawl out of it but Kramer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gael manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Eugene Gael has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cosmo Kramer.

Kramer shoots in and drives through. Gael sprawls well.
A solid leg kick lands there for Gael.
Gael darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Eugene Gael is winning the standup battle so far.
Gael throws an overhand right that lands on Kramer's shoulder, as Kramer tries to avoid the shot.
Kramer steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Gael.
A telegraphed right hand from Gael misses the target.
Kramer swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Kramer shoots in but no luck this time.
Gael was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Cosmo Kramer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Gael moves into the clinch successfully.
Kramer is looking for a takedown.

Gael is stalling here.
Kramer wants a takedown but no success here.
Kramer has Gael pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gael manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
A right hand to the body from Gael.
Kramer takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
A short left from Gael.
Gael lands with a left to the head.
Gael presses Kramer against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Gael lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kramer.
Gael lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gael breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kramer closes the distance but Gael moves to the side
and Gael counters with a nice uppercut.
Kramer fails with the takedown.

Kramer stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gael.
Gael moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Kramer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kramer wants to clinch
and Gael counters with a straight right hand.
Eugene Gael is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Gael dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kramer. That did some damage!
Gael throws a body kick that misses.
Gael displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kramer throws out the jab.
Gael defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kramer.

Kramer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kramer takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Gael clinches up with Kramer and pushes him back against the cage.
Kramer wants to break free but Gael has control.

Gael's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gael thuds a left hand into Kramer's body.

Kramer tries to keep at a distance but Gael has taken the fight into the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kramer has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Gael after a bit of a struggle.

And that's the end of the fight!
Eugene Gael showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Gael has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
