The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shevchenko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Beefrock.
A punch lands to the side of Shevchenko 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Taras Shevchenko has been cut.
Beefrock misses with the body kick

and Shevchenko counters with a shoot takedown. Beefrock fights it but they end up in guard.
Beefrock keeping moving, preventing Shevchenko from controlling successfully.
Shevchenko stands up over Beefrock, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

It looks like Lump Beefrock has been cut.
Shevchenko missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shevchenko throws a big elbow that misses.

Shevchenko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shevchenko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Shevchenko is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
