Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kenuichio Harada!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pietr Oblamenko!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oblamenko moves in looking to clinch but Harada pushes him off.
Oblamenko thuds his right hand into Harada's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Harada avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Oblamenko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Oblamenko just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromHarada.
Oblamenko lands with a slapping head kick.
Harada fakes the leg kick and cracks Oblamenko in the body.
Oblamenko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Oblamenko stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Harada.
A slapping body kick lands there for Harada.
Oblamenko throws a big shot that misses.
Oblamenko misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oblamenko lands with a kick to the temple. Harada shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oblamenko walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.


It looks like Pietr Oblamenko has been cut.
Oblamenko moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Oblamenko doesn't manage to clinch there - Harada circles away.
A little feinted left hand from Harada on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Oblamenko throws a jab but it's blocked by Harada.
Oblamenko thows a leg kick but Harada checks it
and Harada counters with an outside leg kick.
Oblamenko looks winded!
That kick from Harada tenderised Oblamenko's leg. Oblamenko is trying to keep his angry face on.
Oblamenko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Harada moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Harada connects with a solid leg kick.
Harada thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Oblamenko if he has to take too many more of those.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Oblamenko takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
An inside leg kick lands from Harada.
You can see that Oblamenko has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks

Harada lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Oblamenko has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Harada closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Oblamenko to the mat! Oblamenko manages to get full guard.
Harada slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harada is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Oblamenko can do anything to dispel that myth.
Oblamenko is looking for a sweep. Harada is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Harada has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Harada looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Oblamenko makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Oblamenko.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Harada connects with a couple of short punches.
Harada throwing strikes but missing.
Oblamenko wants to improve his position but instead Harada has moved into half guard.
Oblamenko is in trouble now - Harada has advanced to mount!
Harada with shots to the head and body - Oblamenko looks very uncomfortable down there.
Harada landing strikes, looking to finish!
Harada tries to control but Oblamenko wriggling away.
Oblamenko tries to lock up and control but Harada gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kenuichio Harada dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Pietr Oblamenko's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Harada lands a left and a right that send Oblamenko crashing to the mat, dazed. Harada thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Oblamenko is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
Harada scores with a push kick.

Harada looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Oblamenko!
Oblamenko is still in real trouble! Can Harada finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Harada in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Oblamenko looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Harada turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kenuichio Harada!
Kenuichio Harada is the new heavyweight champion!
An out of breath and clearly excited Kenuichio Harada thanked Conviction for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
