Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Conlon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mack McKuchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Conlon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Mack McKuchi!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKuchi cracks Conlon with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
McKuchi throws a right and a left that both miss.

Conlon closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming McKuchi to the mat! McKuchi manages to get full guard.
Conlon keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of McKuchi's head.

Conlon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Conlon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Conlon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of McKuchi's head.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Conlon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
McKuchi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Conlon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Conlon lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McKuchi wants to get back to his feet but Conlon is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
McKuchi looks winded!
Conlon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Conlon tries to free his leg and advance position but McKuchi is retaining full guard.
Conlon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as McKuchi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Conlon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Conlon scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
McKuchi has momentary wrist control but Conlon slips an elbow through the middle.

Conlon is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Conlon postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
McKuchi can't keep his opponent in guard - Conlon advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Conlon wants to work for an arm triangle but McKuchi is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Conlon looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Conlon works his foot free and advances to mount.
Conlon scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Conlon is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Conlon extends the arm and McKuchi is forced to tap!

A less than humble Tommy Conlon misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
