Maldini has chosen Just one cornetto as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bane misses with an uppercut. Maldini saw that one coming.
Bane scores with the left hand. Maldini knows he should have avoided that one.
Maldini takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Bane scores with a jab. Maldini acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Bane gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Maldini counters with a crisp one two that drops Bane! Maldini thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Bane to his feet! Bane is in big trouble!
Bane is rocked!
Maldini scoring well with a low kick there.
Lucas Bane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bane checks a leg kick.
A little feinted left hand from Bane on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Bane fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Maldini swings for the body but Bane moves out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bane walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Bane limp body while Maldini jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Giuseppe Maldini!
Our winner, Giuseppe Maldini, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
