The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whoopins connects with a right hand. Mcgreggy shakes it off.
A left lands for Whoopins.
Willie Whoopins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcgreggy takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mcgreggy shoots for a takedown but Whoopins saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Mcgreggy throws a nice looking combination but Whoopins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Whoopins moves into range and connects with a jab.
Mcgreggy shoots in looking for a takedown but Whoopins manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mcgreggy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Willie Whoopins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Connie Mcgreggy.
Whoopins feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mcgreggy sprawling to the canvas! Mcgreggy rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Whoopins finish him?!

Whoopins throws a pinpoint strike between Mcgreggy's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Mcgreggy crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Whoopins scores a great knockout victory!
