Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mangold closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mangold lands in his opponent's guard.
Cortega pushes Mangold off and gets back to his feet.
Mangold looking to score a takedown here. Cortega is defending well but Mangold drives through and ends up in Cortega's guard.
Cortega working for submissions but it's allowed Mangold to get to half guard.
Cortega is trying to control but can't.
Cortega blocking the ground and pound attempt from Mangold.

Mangold wants to control but Cortega is keeping him busy.

Mangold looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cortega with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Mangold lands a big elbow - Cortega is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Mangold!
