Richmond comes to the cage accompanied by Dont Stop Me Now. Walker has chosen Another One Bites the Dust as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Richmond gets a clinch.
Walker has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Walker working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Richmond blocks an uppercut.

Richmond escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Richmond closes the distance but Walker moves to the side
and Walker counters with a nice body shot.
Richmond misses with a combination
and Walker counters with a straight right hand.
A head kick by Richmond misses
and Walker counters with a stiff right hand.

Richmond closes the distance and clinches.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Richmond.
Richmond lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Walker is looking to break free of the clinch but Richmond has double underhooks.

Richmond's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Richmond tries to close the distance and clinch but Walker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Richmond backing away here, and Walker unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Richmond rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Walker counters with a slapping leg kick.
Richmond moves to clinch but Walker breaks away
and Walker connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

letting Walker counter with a right hand.

Richmond drops Walker with a beautiful combination! Walker stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Richmond is looking for the KO!

It looks like John Walker has been cut.
Richmond tries to clinch up
and Walker counters with a left and a right that stings Richmond.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Richmond doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Richmond moves into the clinch.
Walker can't find room to land a body shot as Richmond controls the action.
Walker misses with a body punch.
Walker blocks an uppercut.
Richmond tries to work over Walker's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Walker can't break the clinch.
Richmond content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Richmond tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Walker's elbow.

Walker can't break the clinch.
Walker misses with some punches.
Richmond swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Richmond lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Walker backwards.
Richmond lands a right hand.
Richmond presses Walker against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Walker wants to break the clinch but can't.
Richmond tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Walker's elbow.
Richmond scores with a nice hook to the head.

Walker tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

and Walker counters with a straight right hand.
Richmond smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Richmond seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Richmond has closed the distance and engaged Walker in a clinch.
Richmond lands a nice uppercut.
Richmond misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Richmond misses with a hook from the clinch.
Richmond lands with a right to the head.
Richmond dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Walker tries to break free but Richmond pushes him back against the cage.
Walker misses with a body punch.

Walker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Richmond looks to clinch
and Walker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Richmond misses with an attempted mid kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Richmond looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Richmond misses with a few strikes there.
Walker thinks about the counter body kick.
Walker circles away from the clinch attempt
and Walker counters with a straight right hand.

Walker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Richmond tries to clinch but Walker moves out of range.
Walker is looking for the big counter here.

Richmond doesn't manage to clinch there - Walker circles away.
Walker throws a front kick that sends Richmond stumbling back into the cage.

and Walker counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Richmond tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Walker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Richmond throws a head kick that misses.
It seemed like Walker was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Richmond throws a leg kick
and Walker counters with a nice kick to the body.
The fighters circle, before Richmond throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Walker's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Richmond lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Charles Richmond!
