The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Poroshenko throws out a counter right but Rock avoids it with no problem.
Rock looks to land a left hand but Poroshenko moved out of range nicely.
Poroshenko drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Rock defends it well.
Rock ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Rock fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Poroshenko manages to avoid it.
Poroshenko takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Rock throws a punch but it's blocked by Poroshenko.
Rock tries a body shot but Poroshenko blocks it.
Poroshenko is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rock pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Poroshenko wants the takedown. Rock is fighting it off but Poroshenko persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Rock's guard against the cage.

Poroshenko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rock has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Poroshenko has managed to get both his arms back between Rock's legs - danger averted.
Rock controls Poroshenko momentarily but Poroshenko frees himself.

Rock has his foot on Poroshenko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Poroshenko works his way back into a safe position though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rock bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Poroshenko's head backwards.

Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Poroshenko and the ref steps in to end the fight! Poroshenko can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
