PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Manning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Attila Zoroaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jorge Garcia and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zoroaster throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Manning tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zoroaster was well out of range. Poor timing from Manning.
Zoroaster misses with a head kick.
Manning seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Zoroaster drives through and clinches with Manning against the cage.
Manning is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Manning tries to break free but Zoroaster pushes him back against the cage.
Zoroaster has Manning pressed against the cage, preventing Manning from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zoroaster successfully pulls guard.
Zoroaster wants to stand up but Manning is controlling him.

Zoroaster pushes Manning off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Zoroaster moves into the clinch.
Zoroaster should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

A frustrated look appears on Manning's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Zoroaster breaks from the clinch.

Zoroaster fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Manning, pushing him back against the cage.
Manning can't break the clinch.
Manning taking a breather.
Manning working hard to break the clinch.
Zoroaster prevents Manning from breaking the clinch.

Zoroaster works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Manning controls Zoroaster momentarily but Zoroaster frees himself.

Zoroaster is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Zoroaster cracks Manning with a solid left hand.
Zoroaster controlling from the top position.
Manning will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zoroaster gets to his feet. Manning looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Zoroaster throws a series of punches but Manning avoids them all with ease.
Manning swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Zoroaster moves out of range of the body kick.
Zoroaster looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Manning has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Zoroaster finds it's way round the side to connect with Manning's head.
Manning is trying hard to land a takedown here. Zoroaster sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Manning.

Manning rushes Zoroaster and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Manning is trying to maintain a safe position but Zoroaster gets an underhook and turns Manning into the cage.
Manning slows down the pace here.
Manning wants to break free but Zoroaster has control.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Manning breaks the clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Manning tries to close the distance and clinch but Zoroaster swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Zoroaster with the counter takedown but Manning avoids it easily.
Manning shoots in and drives through. Zoroaster sprawls well.
Zoroaster wants to counter with a clinch but Manning pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Attila Zoroaster dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Zoroaster connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Manning momentarily.

Zoroaster manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Manning on his heels. He'll look to pass Manning's guard now, I'm sure.

Manning pushes Zoroaster off and gets back to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Manning.

Zoroaster drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Manning throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zoroaster changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Manning looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Zoroaster decides to stand back up.

Zoroaster clinches.
Zoroaster stalling the fight.
Zoroaster keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Manning's efforts to push away.
Manning looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Zoroaster prevents Manning from breaking the clinch.
Manning tries to circle away but Zoroaster has him pinned against the cage.
Manning takes a knee to the side of the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Manning is struggling to control the position.

Zoroaster successfully pulls guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Manning is fighting to break Zoroaster's control of his arms but Zoroaster is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Manning slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Zoroaster is looking to stand up but Manning isn't so interested in that idea.

Zoroaster has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Manning is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

It looks like Stefan Manning has been cut.
Manning wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Zoroaster has him pressed against the cage.

Manning is rocked!

Zoroaster breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Oh Manning is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Manning gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
